Google Minesweeper is a Classic Puzzle Game. This game tests your logical reasoning and deduction skills. By carefully analyzing the number clues and strategically marking mine locations with flags, you can clear the grid without triggering any mines. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced player, Minesweeper provides a rewarding experience as you work through the puzzles and improve your skills.
How to Play and Control “Google Minesweeper”
Start the Game
- The game begins with a grid of hidden squares.
- Your first click will always be safe (it won’t hit a mine).
Reveal Squares
- Left-click on a square to reveal what’s underneath.
- If the square is empty, it will either be blank (indicating no mines are adjacent) or display a number representing how many mines are touching that square.
Use Clues
The numbers are clues that help you identify where the mines are located. If a square shows “3”, there are precisely three mines in the 8 adjacent squares.
Mark Mines with Flags
- If you are sure that a square contains a mine based on the clues, you can mark it by placing a flag.
- Right-click (or long press on mobile) to place a flag on a square. This helps you keep track of potential mine locations.
Clear All Non-Mine Squares
Continue revealing squares using the number clues and marking suspected mines with flags.
The game is won when you have revealed all the squares that do not contain mines.
Controls
- Left-click (or tap on mobile): Reveal the square.
- Right-click (or long press on mobile): Place or remove a flag on a square (to mark it as a mine).
- Double-click (optional): Some versions allow double-clicking on a revealed square to automatically reveal its adjacent squares, provided you’ve flagged the correct number of mines around it.
