Hangman is a fun and educational game that challenges players to think critically and use their vocabulary creatively. Whether you’re playing to pass the time or sharpen your spelling skills, Hangman offers hours of enjoyment. The simplicity of its rules, combined with the thrill of guessing, makes it a timeless favorite for people of all ages.

How to Play and Control game

  1. Set Up: One player (the “host”) thinks of a word or phrase and writes out blank spaces representing each letter of the word. For example, if the word is “APPLE,” the host writes.

  2. Guessing Letters: The other player(s) take turns guessing letters one by one, trying to figure out the hidden word. Each guessed letter is either:

    • Correct: If the guessed letter is in the word, the host fills in the blanks with that letter wherever it appears.
    • Incorrect: If the letter is not in the word, the host draws one part of the hangman figure (e.g., the head, body, arms, and legs). The figure consists of six parts, typically drawn in this order:
      1. Head
      2. Body
      3. Left arm
      4. Right arm
      5. Left leg
      6. Right leg
  3. Winning or Losing:

    • The game continues until either:
      • The word is fully guessed (the guesser wins), or
      • The full hangman figure is drawn, and the guesser runs out of guesses (the host wins).
